Quiet Lakes from Hamilton, Ontario is a cascade of crushing riffs, despairing wails and beautiful melodies. They create progressive and densely layered post-metal/drone doom strongly rooted in shoegaze, post-rock, and slowcore. The music is minimal, bleak, and heavy.
